PACKAGING
Astrapak has concluded a R170-million multiyear supply agreement with an unnamed fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company that will see the plastic packaging group supplying a major portion of the client’s personal care and food packaging requirements. The supply agreement would involve the operations of three of Astrapak’s manufacturing facilities: the Plastop operation, in KwaZulu-Natal, which used injection blow-moulding and extrusion blow-moulding technologies; blow-moulding centre JJ Precision Plastics, in KwaZulu-Natal; and thin-walled injection moulding and in-mould labelling specialists Marcom Plastics, in Pretoria.
