Engen continues to make a positive impact by giving back to the communities in which it operates. As part of an inventive advertising deal, a portion of Engen’s outdoor spend will be used to upgrade soccer facilities around the country. Engen, who is the proud sponsor of Premier Soccer League team Supersport United, launched the programme in Alexandera, Gauteng on Monday, 25 April 2016. The event was marked by a coaching clinic conducted by Supersport United for local players at the recently upgraded Altrek Sports Centre which was handed over for community use. Says Tasneem Sulaiman-Bray, Engen’s General Manager: Corporate Affairs: “Engen is committed to making a difference and we are therefore always looking at community benefitting projects to support. Soccer has provided a platform for us to give back and assist in building happy, sustainable communities.”
