Gautrain fee increase announcement indicative of poor management

Operators of the Gautrain have yet again increased the fees for the service and this irritates me. What particularly irritated me was a Gautrain spokesperson saying in the newspaper: “The Gautrain increases fees every year to keep up with inflation-related increases. Our increases are related to the consumer index, which is 6.3%”.  This is a really poor statement. On June 1 each year, Gautrain fees go up. To me, this shouts "Bad management";  it shows incompetence.
