Dozens of miners who took part in a wildcat strike over the weekend at Sibanye Gold's Kroondal platinum mine may get fired, its chief executive said on Wednesday. Such a response to illegal union actions could raise tensions on the restive platinum belt. The union involved, the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU), has reacted to the firing of wildcat strikers in the past with stoppages and violence.
